I am a self-taught artist, and have been influenced by the work of many artists, as well as art therapists. I began exploring art as a kind of therapy, when I developed Repetitive Strain Injury during a career as a journalist. It became too painful to type or hold a pen, but I could grip a fat paintbrush and my world became very colorful.

As a result, I use art as a way to express my inner landscape. Also to have fun.

Here’s a small sample of works on canvas.

How I wish I could whip up a poem on the spot in honor of “Clam and Eggs.” I love the whimsy in that painting! Remarkable work, as always.
