Latest Inspiration

My latest source of creative inspiration has come from this book, that caught my eye in the library:

I love the fantastical designs and the vivid colors. It’s a beautiful book that describes the contributions of French designers and artists to the art deco period of textiles. I never knew that Raoul Dufy designed textiles … Mon Dieu!

So, inspired, I bought new art supplies (which, let’s face it, I’d find any excuse to do) and started drawing.

I opened a new box of crayons today does that count LOL. No seriously am by no means an artists but that book looks very intrigueing.

I live my “artistic” life through Susanna. Maybe when the babies are 5 ish, and it is more my time, I will find my inner “artist.”

Oh, that would be an inspiring book. There’s a big book at my local library on The Fauves…I’ve signed it out numerous times. And I want to see that drawing!! It looks great!! I mean that!!!
