Wedding planning is not for the faint of heart …

Where, when, how much to spend, what to wear, what’s the menu, who attends, who doesn’t? Maybe answering these annoying questions account for why I haven’t been interested in matrimony before. My head’s been swimming in the details.

Meanwhile, it’s the little routines of life that help me stay grounded, such as:

Emptying the dishwasher …

    Wedding planning?
I guess I don’t visit here quite enough.

I can give you some do’s and don’ts if you want….from a parents viewpoint. My son got married last year.

Beautiful photos of New Hampshire. It looks like you had a great time. Nothing like sa girls road trip.

The best thing Justin and I did when we were planning was try to make everything into a fun event. We’d see a location and then go out for a glass of wine. We’re write a list over waffles. We’d make decisions as we went on a walk. It was good together time 🙂

I hope everything comes together easily and beautifully for you 🙂

And what a great approach to staying grounded. Who knew the dishes could be a spiritual exercise 🙂

Congratulations! I’m getting married on November 1. We have gone our own way with our wedding. No family involved. We will have 10 people total, us plus 8 close friends at a Japanese garden.

No officiant. We’re going to make up the ceremony to suit us. It will include giving each of our guests a gift to recognize them as being such a wonderful part of our lives.

Then we’re going to have a wonderful dinner at a Lebanese restaurant! Yummy! 🙂

I hope you can plan a day that will suit you and that you will have oh-so-much-fun!
