Boss Lady Me

Now that I am my own boss, I can return to the self-care that I always focus on with my clients but was too busy to do myself.

This week:

— My fourth weekly massage from Erin. I am amazed at how my body is responding over time. I couldn’t feel much the first 2 visits, and now I feel very heavy with sore points. With the fog lifting, my numbness to my body is also vaporizing. Thank you, my beautiful body, for telling me how you’ve been feeling.

— Going to my favorite health food store in Princeton with Susanna during the week. During the week! I can actually do something other than work during the week. I loaded up on organic veggies, bulk grains and homemade tahini cookies.

— Making a little garden in my backyard, for which I probably need permission from the development board.

Sidebar: I live in a development, which I never in my wildest dreams imagined that I could do. I was hooked the moment my real estate agent, Dave, took me to the back of the house. There were thick woods in all directions divided by a flowing creek about 25 feet from the backdoor. It is home to fox, geese, deer, garter snakes, ducks, salamanders, moles, voles, blue and white herons, wild turkey, and an occasional groundhog.

— A spa afternoon with Meera today.

I gotta say, girl, you are looking soooooo great these days. You are glowing this summer – and not just because you have more time to bask in the sun!

I had fun going to Princeton with you this past week. Thank you for taking me. Of course I always like hanging out with you, my friend. 🙂
