I left my Heart in New Orleans, part 4

OK … one last great thing at the top of the heap was our all-nighter at Howlin’ Wolf Club. We saw a 5 hour marathon of musicians pieced together by Jason Miles and DJ Logic.

Musicians who sat in during the night & wee morning hours were Mike Gordon and Page McConnell (from Phish), Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers Band), Billy Martin (Medeski, Marin & Wood) , Vernon Reid (Living Colour), John Popper (Blues Traveler) Cyro Baptista (Herbie Hancock), Bernie Worrell (Talking Heads, Parliament Funk), Karl Denson (Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Lenny Kravtiz) and Falu, an amazing traditional Indian singer whose voice at times became the most powerful instrument on the stage.

This marathon of musicians is named Global Noize
